The ninth and final chair is filled. He turns up in a cape and a mask, which tells you everything about how seriously he is taking the cape and the mask, and nothing about how seriously he is taking the beef.
Before a single beef is eaten, he puts down a full boot of James River. Not beer. Sauce. We asked whether he would and he answered faster than any reasonable person should have.

North Shore Beefs is the definitive digital home of the North Shore roast beef sandwich, a regional food tradition born in Massachusetts in the 1950s that has never received the national attention it deserves. Until now.
Founded by Andy Ferg, North Shore Beefs has grown to over 40,000 Instagram followers and a 50,000-member private Facebook group through consistent, opinionated coverage of every roast beef shop on the North Shore.
