The Event
Major League Eating - same organization behind the Nathan's Famous contest on the 4th of July - is bringing a competitive eating event to Game On!, the bar and beefery at Fenway. Sanctioned and livestreamed on YouTube and Instagram. Free to attend, no ticket required. This is real.
What the Winner Takes
A $2,500 purse, plus the Samuel Adams prize package: cooler, sweatshirt, hat and a pack of Red Sox tickets. Handed over on stage the moment it's over, sizes picked on the spot, because nobody knows who wins until they do.
NSB's Role
Andy Ferg and CJ "xcessv" Racki will both be there representing North Shore Beefs at Game On!. This is the event that puts the North Shore roast beef sandwich in front of a national audience.
